Who is the Guided Rock Climbing Program for?
This course is for those climbers visiting the area or for those who want to climb the area rock climbing guide NHclassics, a guided ascent is an exciting, challenging and enjoyable way to experience the many high quality routes to be found in the White Mountains.

When is the Guided Rock Climbing Program held?
This course runs every day from early spring through late fall. You can schedule it any day you want by calling our reservation line 603-444-1039

How big are the classes for the Guided Rock Climbing Program?
This program should be done as a private or semi-private lesson

How do I sign up for the Guided Rock Climbing Program?
Signing up is as easy as calling our reservation and information line at 603-444-1039. When you call we will answer any questions you have about our programs and then take down all the information we need to sign you up. To ensure that you get the day you want, try to give us as much notice as possible--a couple of weeks is usually sufficient (we may be able to accommodate you with much less notice so if your schedule opens up and you want to climb, just give us a call.)

What equipment does Climb On, Inc., provide for the Lesson?
We provide all the technical equipment including a harness, helmet, and all other hardware.

Do I need to be young and fit to take the Guided Rock Climbing Program?
You dont need to be young but you do need a moderate level of aerobic fitness for this program. In addition to climbing 400-600 feet there will be several miles of steep and strenuous hiking.

What hours does the course run and how is the day structured?
We meet at 7:30 AM. After a few minutes fitting equipment and making sure we have everything we need we will drive to the trailhead (20-60 minutes depending on the location) and start hiking. The approaches to these climbs take between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours and will take us high into the mountains-possibly above timberline. We will then climb the route and hike down. The day will be long and strenuous (though the climbing may be moderate) and a high level of fitness will make the day more enjoyable.

Can children take the Guided Rock Climbing Program?
This program is typically not suitable for children however if you have a youngster between the ages of 15 and 18 with the requisite skills and fitness level then the program may be appropriate.

What do I need to Bring?
For our Rock Climbing Programs, you should bring clothing for the weather, including a light wind shell or rain jacket, an easy-to-eat lunch, at least a liter of water (more if its hot) bug repellant, sun screen, a small day pack and a camera! Check here for a complete gear list.
