What will I learn on the Intermediate Ice Climbing Lesson?
Since our intermediate program is open ended there is not a set curriculum for the day. The level of climbing difficulty and the specific skills covered will depend on the abilities and desires of the clients. In general, intermediate lessons focus on refining basic waterfall ice climbing skills on routes that vary in length from one to several pitches and in difficulty from quite easy to quite hard. Utilizing the anchor, protection, and belaying systems and learning to improve climbing technique form the basis for all intermediate instruction.

Our standard group instruction is taught with a maximum of three clients with one instructor. We keep our ratios low so that you get personal attention. If you book in for a group lesson as an individual or a party of two, we may match you with someone else if it is appropriate.
