Who is the Guided
Ice Climb for? 
This program is for those with previous experience who would like to
make an ascent of a particular climb.
What will I learn
on the Guided Ice Climb?
While the focus of this program is to successfully climb a particular
route, we will make every effort to help you learn and improve your
technique along the way. Whether your goal is a short, moderate classic
or a long, hard climb, there will be ample learning opportunities. At
the end of the day you will be a better climber and be able to check
off a route on your dream list.
When can I go
on a Guided Ice Climb?
This course runs every day from late fall through early spring. You
can schedule it any day you want by calling our reservation line 603-444-1039
How big are the groups for the Guided Ice Climb?
The maximum ratio on this program is two clients per instructor.
How do I sign
up for the Guided Ice Climb?
Signing up is as easy as calling our reservation and information line
at 603-444-1039. or When you call we will answer any questions you have
about our programs and then take down all the information we need to
sign you up. We take payment at the time of the reservation via a credit
card--though other payment options may be available. To ensure that
you get the day you want, try to give us as much notice as possible--a
couple of weeks is usually sufficient (we may be able to accommodate
you with much less notice so if your schedule opens up and you want
to climb, just give us a call.)
What equipment
does Climb On, Inc provide?
We provide all the technical equipment including a harness, helmet,
mountaineering boots, crampons and ice axes.
What hours does
the course run and how is the day structured?
The starting and ending times for this program depend on the location
and climb chosen. Call us to set up the schedule for your climb.
Do I need to
be young and fit to take the Guided Ice Climb?
You should be fairly fit and capable of a long day outdoors for these
exciting climbs.
Can children
do the Guided Ice Climb?
Children 15 and over may sign up for ice climbing lessons without restriction.
If you have a child 12-14 years old give us call to see what would be
appropriate. We're sorry, but ice climbing instruction is not available
