Barry Jones Bio

Barry Jones, owner of Climb On, Inc., has 25 years of mountaineering experience with personal and professional expeditions to South America, Canada, Mexico, Europe and throughout the United States including Alaska.

Barry is an American Mountain Guides Association Certified Top Rope Site Manager and has also completed AMGA's Basic and Advanced Rock Guides Training course. Barry is a Master level Instructor for Outward Bound, having spent 12 years working as a Climbing Instructor, Field Instructor, Course Director and Director of Climbing at three Outward Bound schools.

Barry also is a Risk Management Consultant to experiential and therapeutic Adventure/Wilderness based programs.He also has been brought in to numerous private prep schools to establish and facilitate Outdoor programs or prepare existing programs for National Review and/or Accreditation.

Barry has Wilderness First Responder Medical Training, has level II avalanche certification, is a professional member of the National Ski Patrol, a level II snowboard Instructor with the Association of Snowboard Instructors of America.
